The Jumps are open to the public all day. At 5pm Sat we will have an official jump Jump Jam that leads into the Whip Contest ( Judged best of 3).

WHO Created
the event?
Hot Laps was created by Jill Kintner, Matt Orlando, Bob Stenson, and Natasha Weiss, in conjunction with Race Cascadia.
The goal was to use a lifetime of pro experience and expertise, trail building, business knowledge, etc. to give riders what they want… Great trails, big jumps, an encouraging format, prizes, skill-building workshops, camping, and more!!
The mission is to bring people together for a good time riding bikes:)

Jill Kintner is one of the most decorated cyclists in the world - Olympic BMX medalist, multi-time World Champion, 5-time Queen of Crankworx, Hall of Famer, and top 3 in the world across six disciplines.
Beyond competition, she channels her creativity into art, design, is a skill coach for the US National XC team, mentors athletes, and builds community through events like Hot Laps and other projects that blend her passions for riding, creativity, and connection.

Matt Orlando is a seasoned trail builder, videographer, pro rider, and passionate advocate for mountain biking, bringing creative vision and craftsmanship to every project he touches. As Hot Laps Owner and Race Director, Evergreen West Sound board member, and leader in media and sponsorships, he blends community, competition, and storytelling to grow the sport and support riders of all levels.

Bob Stenson is a pro level rider, trail builder, and all-around people person who combines his love of cycling with hands-on project management and event coordination. As Deputy Director, Project Manager, and Facilities & Medical Coordinator for Hot Laps, he keeps events running smoothly, brings the hype, supports riders safely, and helps build community both on and off the trails.

Our Hot Laps announcer, Casey Northern brings energy and expertise to every event, keeping riders and fans engaged from start to finish. He also runs the Northwest Cup downhill series and, when he’s not on the mic or at the races, enjoys golf and connecting with the mountain biking community.

Coach Kat Sweet has nearly two decades of coaching experience through Sweetlines, specializing in skills, mental training, and women’s progression. A former pro downhill racer, she helps riders of all levels build confidence, technique, and love for the sport.
Chelsea Kimball is a pro freerider and Red Bull Rampage competitor known for her fearless style and dedication to growing women’s freeride. She also builds jump lines and hosts community rides, inspiring riders to progress, have fun, and push their limits.
Hailey Elise is a Juliana-supported pro rider and accomplished photographer/videographer. Her creative eye and focus on flow, skill, and expression help riders push limits while celebrating their individuality.
